We know older kids don’t want “kiddie camp.” We offered the freedom to choose activities, hang out with friends, and access incredible technologyโ€”all in a safe, staff-guided environment.

Flow & Freedom

The Teen Camp offered “Open Access” time where members could choose their own adventure (STEM, Art, E-Sports, or Sports).

9:30 AM – 12:00 PM Morning Open Access: All specialty rooms open! E-Sports Arena, Music Studio, Art Room, or Outdoor Sports.
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM Lunch: Campers brought their own packed, Nut-Free lunch.
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM Structured Tournaments & Challenges: Organized competitions (Gaming, Sports, or STEM challenges) led by staff.
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM Afternoon Open Access: Back to the labs! Finish a beat, play a match, or work on an art project.
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM Dismissal: Final hangout and pickup.

2026 Deposit & Payment Policy

1. SECURE YOUR SPOT

A $50.00 non-refundable deposit was required at checkout to reserve each week. This amount was deducted from the total fee (it was NOT an extra charge).

2. STRICT PAYMENT DEADLINE

The remaining balance was due 14 days prior to the start of each session.

โš ๏ธ LATE PAYMENT POLICY

No Exceptions: If a balance wasn’t paid by the 14-day deadline, the spot was forfeited immediately to the waitlist, and the deposit was lost. This policy will apply again next season.

On the RecDesk registration screen, the system defaulted to showing the full weekly tuition (e.g., $174). Families did not need to pay the full amount at registration.

The box labeled “Pay only security deposit of $50.00” needed to be checked (located directly under the “Fee Type” dropdown).

This will apply again when 2027 registration opens.

Example: At a $174 weekly rate, $50 was paid to lock in the week, with the remaining $124 due 14 days before that week began.

Transfers were available during the 2026 season on a request basis, subject to availability. This process will return when 2027 registration opens.

No. A paid membership or “joining fee” was not required to access camp or Early Bird pricing โ€” only a free RecDesk account was needed to register. This will apply again next season.

Hours: The Club was open from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Flexibility: The Teen Camp operated on an “Open Door” policy โ€” members could come and go throughout the day, with structured entertainment, enrichment, and gaming tournaments running all day.

A “Rising 5th Grader” had a choice between Teen Camp and traditional camp (Camp Stoneham/Wakefield), left to parent discretion. This decision framework returns with 2027 registration.

The Boys & Girls Club was not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. This policy will apply again next season.

Refunds or pro-rated discounts were not offered for missed days due to illness, vacation, or personal choice. This policy will apply again next season.

Members were expected to apply their own sunscreen, with staff providing scheduled verbal reminders. Teens could carry and self-administer their own EpiPen or Inhaler with a doctor’s note on file authorizing them to do so.

Yes. Strictly NO peanuts, tree nuts, or shellfish were allowed in the building. This policy will apply again next season.
